Ship records to fans days after they are pressed.
No cross-country freight bill. No boxes for you to tape shut.
Most plants finish your run, wrap it on a pallet and put it on a truck to a fulfillment warehouse somewhere else in the country. That freight bill usually runs $500 to $1,500, if not more. Then the warehouse has to receive the shipment, check it in and put it away before it can pick a single order. Three to four weeks can pass between the last record coming off the press and the first one reaching a fan.
We do it differently because of where we are. Gold Rush Vinyl is in Austin and so are our fulfillment partners. The moment your records are pressed, inspected and boxed, they are couriered across town and processed the same day at a fulfillment warehouse. Your fans start getting records in days, not weeks -- and you never pay to ship a pallet across the country.
All we need is a .csv file of your pre-orders before your pressing is scheduled along with your logo and a return address. We can also integrate straight into your Bandcamp or Shopify, or you can fill in the template we send you.
Every record is packed in an easy-to-open, right-sized, recyclable mailer made specifically for vinyl. The mailer matters more than people expect. A record that turns up with a dinged corner or a split seam is a refund, a re-ship, and a bad first impression of a release you spent a year making.
We can drop-ship to fans, to record stores, or to tour stops. And it does not have to be all or nothing — send part of the run direct to your pre-order list and the rest in bulk to your distributor.
Get it straight from Bandcamp, Shopify or whatever you sell through. We check it for bad addresses before anything ships.
It goes on the label, so the package that lands on a doorstep looks like it came from you — not from an anonymous warehouse.
Where returns and undeliverables go. Every carrier needs one, and nothing leaves without it.
