Production Coordinator

We're looking for a full-time Production Coordinator to work with us in our Austin, Texas office. This exciting entrepreneurial opportunity offers the chance to be part of a fast-growing business in both the music and manufacturing industries.

This is a unique role within our company, as the Production Coordinator works very closely with both the Business team and Production team to bring our records to life. If you love vinyl, Gantt charts and start-ups this is the right job for you.

At Gold Rush Vinyl, we look for go-getters who demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. We are a small team so it is important that you are a fast learner and can quickly take on new responsibilities.
Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Onboarding new clients and confirming project details before records go into production
  • Uploading and organizing all files associated with a record project and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Creating the weekly Production Schedule based on job details, raw material availability and business priorities
  • Delivering proactive and reactive customer updates when it comes to production timelines
  • Managing our CRM and content management systems

Our ideal candidate has these qualifications:

  • ~2 to 4 years of project management or production coordinator experience 
  • Brings customer service experience and knows how to work through tricky client situations
  • Enthusiastic about vinyl and well-versed in record terminology
  • Very organized and can work heads-down on detailed projects
  • Professional and can represent the company with outside vendors
  • Excellent communicator and shows proactiveness in delivering updates
  • Understands basic Excel formulas and shortcuts
  • Comfortable creating and maintaining data sets in Airtable, JotForm, Google Sheets, and ideally familiar with Adobe Photoshop
  • Maintains a positive attitude and team-focused mentality, especially in stressful times

This is a full-time, salaried position with health and dental benefits, plus vacation days. The role is based out of our Austin, Texas, office and has some work-from-home flexibility once training is completed.
