Job Description:
We are seeking a part-time Sales Representative with a passion for the music industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an extensive network of contacts within major label and publishing companies, particularly with A&R and marketing departments of Latin, Hip-Hop and Pop labels.
This role will focus on expanding our RIAA Certified Award business and promoting our custom award plaques to award-winning teams.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize existing network and actively seek out new contacts within major label and publishing companies.
- Reach out to award-winning artists, songwriters, and record labels to promote our RIAA Certified Awards and custom award plaques.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for targeting potential clients and increasing brand visibility.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the music industry.
- Strong network of contacts within major label and publishing companies, particularly with A&R and marketing departments.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with the RIAA certification process and music industry awards preferred.
- Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.
- Remote work, but we prefer the rep be based in a key music city like Los Angeles, New York or Nashville.
Compensation:
This position offers a combination of base pay and commission, on a sliding scale. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and performance.
