Latin Music Sales Representative (Full-Time)

Gold Rush Vinyl is a women-led vinyl pressing plant in Austin, Texas, built by people who make, sell and love records. Our team runs Waterloo Records, founded Women in Vinyl, and has worked on hundreds of releases. Every client gets a real human rep who knows the factory floor, so the record and the relationship stay connected from first quote to final shipment.

We also produce RIAA Certified Awards: Gold®, Platinum® and Diamond® plaques made with real 24-karat gold, silver and platinum on actual records.

Role Overview:

We're hiring a bilingual (Spanish/English) sales representative to grow our Latin music business across two lines: custom vinyl manufacturing and RIAA Certified Award plaques. Latin music is one of the fastest-growing genres on vinyl and in certifications, and we want a rep who already lives in that world with strong contacts across artists, managers, and labels.

This is an entrepreneurial role. You'll build your own book of business alongside our existing clients, bringing in new accounts across North and South America, and serve as our day-to-day liaison with Latin clients, with the full Gold Rush team behind you. Compensation is base plus commission, so your results drive your earnings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bring in new business from Latin artists, managers, labels and distributors across North and South America
• Sell RIAA Certified Award plaques to labels and artists who've earned certifications, with a focus on Oro® and Platino® awards and custom designs
• Serve as the main liaison for Latin music clients, guiding them through formats, color vinyl, packaging and timelines in Spanish or English
• Prepare quotes and hand off orders to production with clean, complete specs
• Keep every lead, deal and follow-up current in Airtable
• Represent Gold Rush at music conferences, showcases and industry events
• Share market feedback that shapes our offerings and outreach

Qualifications:

• Fluent in Spanish and English, written and spoken
• 3+ years in music sales, label services, artist management or a related role
• An existing book of business and network in Latin music across the Americas
• Comfort running your own pipeline in Airtable or a similar CRM
• An entrepreneurial self-starter who builds territory, follows up fast and keeps promises
• Bonus: vinyl manufacturing, merch or physical product experience
