Sales & Customer Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled, adaptable, and reliable sales and customer service rep to work on the frontlines of Gold Rush Vinyl. In this position, you will be part of building a dynamic team to implement our sales campaigns, provide exceptional customer service and work directly with the Vice President to quote, prep, and update clients on  projects. You should feel comfortable analyzing data, doing market research, speaking with clients and both anticipating and being proactive to customer’s needs.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain and track inbound quote requests, responding and following up promptly on leads according to the team’s policies via email, phone, or online platforms. 
  • Provide accurate information about our products, services, and pricing to potential customers.
  • Prepare customized quotes based on the client’s needs, budget constraints, and within our production capabilities. Ensure that quotes are accurate, competitive, and tailored to meet client needs.
  • Take incoming sales calls and emails as necessary. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service providing proactive and honest updates as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
  • Address customer issues promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations and maintain positive relationships.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication, follow-up, and personalized interactions. Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and repeat business.
  • Supports sales by requesting vendor pricing where necessary for the team.
  • Manage daily administrative tasks, like updating KPIs and help generate reports on and help maintain sales metrics.
  • Conduct market research and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Gather and analyze consumer behavior data (e.g. industry trends / competitor analysis).
  • Maintain sales sample library.

Experience: 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with inbound sales or relatable experience. 
  • Knowledge of sales industry or vinyl / the vinyl industry.
  • Computer skills including G-Suite, and ideally some project management software like monday.com or Airtable.
  • Strong communication and willingness to give honest updates: comfortable delivering difficult or disappointing news to customers while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
  • Team player and self starter.
  • Skilled in reporting / analyzing information.
  • General data entry skills required.
  • Not Afraid to Ask for Help: willingness to seek guidance, ask questions, and collaborate with team members to resolve challenges and improve performance.

Role Details

This position requires on-site presence in our Austin facility, Monday thru Friday during normal business hours. We offer training, health insurance, and paid time off. Starting annual salary of $40,000 per year.
